Hi there

Well... here I am in Melbourne, Australia. Sorry, but i have to write in english because this keyboard sucks!!! lol

Melbourne is a great city... in all the meanings of the word great. Its big, has huge buildings, but it keeps a certain flair in all the inner suburbs. The one I like the most is Carlton where Lygon St is. It sort of a little Italy, with tons of cafes, restaurants, pizza places and, of course, Football lovers!! And it also has a huge and amzing book shop called Readings. I'm planning on getting a house on this street. Lets see if I can work that out next week. For now I'm staying with my boss and his family. But tomorrow i'm moving to a cheesy chinese motel (i'm not kidding!!). Then, next week I hope to move on to my new place in melbourne, where I plan to stay until the trip to malawi. I already went to the lab and met all my colleagues. They are ok. At the moment everybody is in a bit of a stress because there are some inspections on the labs and the inspectors ask questions to the students and if a lot of students fail the questions the lab can be shut down... I also went already to see one of the guys with whom i will collaborate. Is gay. No... sorry... is very gay!... wait... ok... he is a crazy bitch!!!! The things I have to endure!!

Ahh, before I forget. Did you know that Melbourne has a HUGE amount of Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Japanese, Italians and Greeks? If you walk down the street, 80% of the people you see are oriental!!
